Unfortunately Bataan is best known as the starting point of the infamous "Death March" when the  Japanese Army force-marched  captured U.S. and Filipino troops to the San Fernando railhead under brutal conditions. They were then transferred to Capas, Tarlac in unventilated box cars from San Fernando  railhead to Camp O'Donell for encarceration.
