Boracay

This small island, discovered by back packers in the 70’s, has developed, and how! due to it’s idilic white coral sands, into one of Asia’s most popular beach destinations.  Located 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island, the beaches have received numerous best beach awards from the travel industry.

Boracay comprises of the barangays of Manoc-manoc, Balabag and Yapak in the province of Aklan.

The main tourism area, White Beach, is on the western side of the island and is sheltered from the wind during the Amihan season, when the water off White Beach is often glassy-smooth.
